Privacy at YeahLah
Last updated 8 October 2026
YeahLah runs CQ, a communications app for calls, messages, mail, contacts and groups, and Secure Send, which delivers files too large for email. This page says what we keep, why, and for how long.
What we keep
- Your account: your YeahLah ID and address, your first and last name, your country, your password (stored only as a hash) and any recovery email or phone you choose to add.
- Your communications: the messages, mail, contacts and groups you use in CQ are stored on YeahLah's servers so they reach the people you send them to and appear on your devices.
- Your devices: each paired device, its app version and when it last connected.
- Secure Send: the files you send, the recipient's email address and when the files were downloaded. One-time codes are stored only as hashes.
- Server logs: IP addresses and request times, used to keep the service secure and to limit abuse.
How long
- Secure Send files are deleted when the link expires (7 days) or 7 days after the download, whichever comes first. The record that a share existed is deleted 180 days after it expired.
- Your account and communications are kept while you use YeahLah. Ask us and we will delete them.
What we do not do
- No advertising, trackers or advertising SDKs on this site, in our emails or in CQ.
- We do not sell or rent your information.
- Secure Send emails contain no tracking images or redirect links; the link you see is the link you open.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Write to us at the address on the contact page.
